SYN Messenger (“Syndicate”) Privacy Policy

SYN Messenger is a Matrix client. Messages, account data, and media are exchanged with the Matrix homeserver and integrations selected by the user. SYN Messenger does not operate a default Matrix homeserver.

Encrypted message content and Matrix credentials are stored on the user’s devices. The Apple Watch companion receives only the conversation data needed to display messages and send replies; it does not receive Matrix access tokens or encryption keys.

Diagnostic information is not sold. Any optional analytics or crash reporting will require clear disclosure and user control before public release.

Questions or deletion requests concerning SYN-operated services may be sent to support@synmessenger.com. Data held by a Matrix homeserver remains subject to that server operator’s policy.
